Asaka (Uzbek: Asaka / Асака; Russian: Асака) is a city in Andijan Province, Uzbekistan, to the east of Andijan in the Ferghana Valley.[1] It was formerly known as Leninsk during the communist era. The first automobile assembly plant in Central Asia was opened there by an Uzbekistani-South Korean joint venture, UzDaewoo.
